Mindfulness is incorporated into our programmes to help youth develop self-awareness, emotional intelligence and resilience to cope with stressful events in life.

WHY CREATIVE MOVEMENT PROGRAMME FOR YOUTH?

Creating a positive impact on health and well-being

Today's youth face higher levels of anxiety, depression, and stress. It's crucial to provide them with the necessary tools and opportunities to cope and thrive in this challenging environment.

The simple act of practising Mindfulness teaches one how to relax, focus and just breathe - enabling them to function more effectively and gain mental clarity.

WHO WE IMPACT

Empowering youths with a lifelong skill

In 2018, we initiated a successful pilot programme at the Singapore Girls Home. Our programme engaged trainers to deliver mindfulness-based initiatives, aimed at reducing stress and enhancing behavioural regulation.

Building upon this success, we have since extended our reach to include other youth and children's Homes and Shelters, such as the Pertapis Centre for Women & Girls and the Singapore Girls' Home.

OUR FUTURE PLANS

Introducing mindfulness to a younger audience

Teaching mindfulness to children will equip them with tools to build self-esteem, focus better, and manage stress. That is why we plan to extend the programme to a younger audience that will include primary and secondary school children.
