Shaping our next generation

The children and youth we support come from disadvantaged backgrounds and face challenges in life and school compared to their peers. They participate in our programmes through our community partners.

Beneficiaries we have helped:

  • Low-income families struggling to afford school expenses

  • Youth residing at homes without parental guidance

  • Children or youth with health conditions such as diabetes

  • Parents missing out on income to focus on childcare

Going from strength to strength

2024

Rolled out a refreshed curriculum for our Joyful Learning programme, curated by Dr. Alexandra Barnett. The new curriculum nutures children's social-emotional, cognitive, and creative growth through proposeful and inclusive learning experiences.

2021

Launched our first teacher training programme, Teacher Everywhere, with 4 groups of children

2020

Received a Certification of Appreciation from President Halimah Yacob for our Covid-19 initiative

2019

Received the Community Cares Award from MSF at the Volunteer and Partner Awards

Partnered with KKH Health Fund with a sponsorship to improve the care of children with diabetes

2018

Launched the Mindfulness programme targeting youth to enhance their emotional well-being

Launched our first literacy programme, Play Library, where volunteer teachers gave Saturday classes to 40 children

Teacher Everywhere

160 volunteers recruited in 2024

Joyful Learning

Empowered 112 children across 8 Joyful Learning centres in Singapore, building their confidence and nurturing a lasting love for reading and learning.

Youth Study Sponsorship

Empowered 11 youths from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing monthly allowances to cover food, transport, and school materials.

Preschool Support Programme

Provided comprehensive support for 974 preschoolers for school fees, welcome packs
